v. 1. to watch, to keep an eye on;

2. to have an audience with; 3. to be on the look-out for any opportunit, to be always trying.

ตำรวจเฝ้าดูเขาอย่างใกล้ชิด The police closely kept an eye on him (The police watched him closely).

เขาเฝ้าแต่จะจับผิดผม He is always trying to pick (find) faults with me.
